Centaurian Productions, Shooting Stars Players, is focused on providing high-quality, full-length musical childrens' theater productions.  We offer workshops in musical theater production, tailored to each child's ability. We accept all children between the ages of 8 and 18, and accept children under the age of 8 on a case-by-case basis.  We do not hold auditions to join but may hold auditions for roles within the production. 

 

We currently are on hiatus but are close to finding a new home for our rehearsals and performances.  We plan to hold an Orientation for the new season in September so stay tuned! 

 

Shooting Stars Players is a children's musical theater group focused on making your child a STAR!  Our program focuses on building your childs' self-confidence and self-esteem through the performing arts.

 

Well - our bid for a Pepsi Refresh Grant didn't pan out.  We ended up in 23rd place and out of the running for receiving a grant.  We may try again in October - so stay tuned for updates.

Due to the lack of a venue we are currently not hosting any programs.  However, we did just learn that the Rio Linda - Elverta Parks and Recreation District is close to making a deal for space at the former Rio Linda Elementary School site.  We are in contact with the Parks & Rec staff to see if we can make a deal for rehearsal and performance space.
